Or just a suitcase or 3...

MERZ

For the Merz project I was given the story of the Three Suitcases. In this story there are three suitcases sitting on a luggage rack, telling their life stories, so I decided to make each of them according to their description in the book. One of them is a well travelled large mans (bottom), another was a large yellow one that belonged to a princess (middle), and the third was a very fine woman's one (top), which has a silky lining rather then a card one in the other two. 

I also made a 'How to make your own suitcase' booklet to go inside the middle one!

Character with an Issue

This was either the last project of first year, or the first project of second year, the details elude me...

But we were given a job title, and told that they had an issue that needed desperately illustrating. Mine was an Astronaut, and I felt his main issue in life would be their difficulty in walking the dog.
